Outlet isnt working

Ok, I know the basement is scary. But we have to check the breakers.
When you open the door, theres a flash light to your right on the step, just below the switch. Theres nothing down there
I checked
Yes, even in the closet. Send [the dog] down first. He can scope it out!

Does it look like this? If not, something tripped the breaker. Flip any that are out of place back to where they belong

YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET ELECTROCUTED I PROMISE

If the breaker stayed in place, go see if the outlet is working

if it bounced back, go unplug EVERYTHING in that room, and try again

If it keeps bouncing back, or the outlet still is not working, unplug everything from it, and call [electrician friend]
